This website is run by parents to facilitate both the sale of school uniform and to provide a means of keeping in touch with your PTA. All our events and meetings will be advertised on this site and if  you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Updates will be posted here and in the parent bulletin during term time.

It is hoped to start accepting donations around that time but please only keep RMS branded items which are in good condition and washed.

Sorry no skirts or trousers as we do not have the space.

PTA Uniform Service

During term time, we aim to process orders within 2-3 working days of receipt of your online order (Excl. New Intake Orders & GCSE Polo Tops).  You will be advised by email when your order is ready for collection.  Students can then collect their uniform order directly from the PTA office.  The PTA office is now sited at the far left of the school and is open for the collection of orders by STUDENTS ONLY.  Monday to Friday at FIRST BREAK TIME ONLY.

Please note: You must receive an email notification to inform you that your uniform order has been packed and ready for collection.

Special arrangements during COVID 19

Your order will be available to collect during the week commencing 6th July.  We have allocated days for collection by your CHILD’S SURNAME:

A – C      Monday 6th July               4.30 - 6.30pm
D – I       Tuesday 7th July               4:30 - 6.30pm
J – P       Wednesday 8th July        4:30 - 6.30pm
R – Z      Thursday 9th July             4.30 - 6.30pm

We strongly urge you to collect your order during this week. Please keep to your allocated day, although you may send someone on your behalf. We are situated behind the DT block, on the left hand side of the school, by the astroturf pitches. We request that collection is by one adult only to keep numbers to a minimum and the current social distancing guidelines are followed at all times.

R – Z      Tuesday 14th July            4:30 - 6.30pm
A – C      Wednesday 15th July     4:30 - 6.30pm
D – I       Thursday 16th July           4.30 - 6.30pm

EXCHANGES/REFUNDS - Exchanges will ONLY be accepted during the week commencing 13/7, or once the school returns. An exchange/refund form must be fully completed with any returned items. Items MUST be in original packaging, unworn (other than to try on) with any tags and labels still attached.

The uniform service is run by parent volunteers and managed by the Robert May’s PTA. All surplus income is donated to the school to purchase additional resources for the students to enhance their time at Robert May’s School.

PTA Uniform Service


Please help the PTA and Uniform Team keep its volunteering time to a minimum.  All exchanges and refunds put an extra workload on our team.  So please ensure children try on uniform first before you purchase uniform from our online shop.  We have all sizes in all our uniform range available at any first break for the pupils to come and try on.  So please AVOID buying 2 sizes of uniform knowing that one will be exchanged or returned.  This is extra work for all our volunteers!  We will not process any Exchanges or Refunds without an accompanying Exchanges-Returns Form.

If for any reason,  WITHIN 4 MONTHS OF PURCHASE you need to exchange or return an item, please ask students to bring the item back to the PTA office in its original packaging.  Please fill out our Exchange Refund Form and include this form when handing any uniform over.  We will check all uniform returned to us and if there are no problems we will exchange or refund the item(s) as requested, if we can not exchange the uniform on the spot we will notify you via email when ready for collection.  If you have any queries please email  We will endeavor to get back to you as soon as possible.  Please be aware that the uniform emails are handled by parent volunteers and therefore a reply might not be instant.​

The Robert May's PTA raise money through fundraising events and the supply of school uniform.  All surplus funds are made available to the school to purchase items that add value to the student's learning experience.  Most years, we raise in excess of £20,000 for the school.  Items purchased have included laptops/chromebooks, sewing machines, projectors, cameras, electronic piano, acoustic guitars, voice recorders, audio books, hard copy books and table tennis tables to name but a few.
