Thank you for visiting the Robert May's PTA website.

This website is run by parents to facilitate both the sale of school uniform and to provide a means of keeping in touch with your PTA. All our events and meetings will be advertised on this site and if  you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

We do rely on parent helpers and if you would like to get involved even if only occasionally, please email:

During term time, we aim to process orders within 2-3 working days of receipt of your online order (Excl. New Intake Orders & GCSE Polo Tops).  You will be advised by email when your order is ready for collection.  Students can then collect their uniform order directly from the PTA office.  The PTA office is now sited at the far left of the school and is open for the collection of orders by STUDENTS ONLY.  Monday to Friday at FIRST BREAK TIME ONLY.

A map of the new school layout can be viewed here (press the Back button on your browser to return to our home page).

Please note: We do not ship orders directly and we can not send orders to pupils through school/tutor class.

We hope you like our new web site, if you have any feedback or comments, please email

 Thank you for your support.

If you have any further uniform orders you wish to place with the PTA to be ready for September please order online ASAP at

Parents of Y10’s please remember to order your black jumpers and ties ready for September!  The last order date for collections before the end of term is Wednesday 10th July.

Students can collect these orders as usual or exchange items (with a completed exchanges form) at any first break-time.

In addition, we have special opening times in July should parents/carers wish to come to the PTA office to collect any orders, and for item exchanges.
We are open 5.30 to 7pm on:  Wednesday 10th July, Thursday 11th July,  Monday 15th  July and Tuesday 16th July.

We are then closed for the summer holidays and our email is monitored only intermittently, however if you need to order further items before term starts please order online. We will reopen for collections/exchanges at the end of the summer holidays between 5.30-7.30pm on Tuesday 3rd September and 10am–1pm on Wednesday 4th September. No cash or cheque purchases can be taken so please order online beforehand for collection at this time.

Please keep an eye on our home page over the summer holidays for any updates about our opening times and service.

Many thanks for your continued support.

Please help the PTA and Uniform Team keep its volunteering time to a minimum.  All exchanges and refunds put an extra workload on our team.  So please ensure children try on uniform first before you purchase uniform from our online shop.  We have all sizes in all our uniform range available at any first break for the pupils to come and try on.  So please AVOID buying 2 sizes of uniform knowing that one will be exchanged or returned.  This is extra work for all our volunteers!  We will not process any Exchanges or Refunds without an accompanying Exchanges-Returns Form.

Exchange Refund Form  <---  Download form here

If for any reason,  WITHIN 4 MONTHS OF PURCHASE you need to exchange or return an item, please ask students to bring the item back to the PTA office in its original packaging.  Please fill out our Exchange Refund Form and include this form when handing any uniform over.  We will check all uniform returned to us and if there are no problems we will exchange or refund the item(s) as requested, if we can not exchange the uniform on the spot we will notify you via email when ready for collection.  If you have any queries please email  We will endeavor to get back to you as soon as possible.  Please be aware that the uniform emails are handled by parent volunteers and therefore a reply might not be instant.

The Robert May's PTA raise money through fundraising events and the supply of school uniform.  All surplus funds are made available to the school to purchase items that add value to the student's learning experience.  Most years, we raise in excess of £20,000 for the school.  Items purchased have included laptops/chromebooks, sewing machines, projectors, cameras, electronic piano, acoustic guitars, voice recorders, audio books, hard copy books and table tennis tables to name but a few.
